SUMMARY:
The Travel Provider role is expected to provide clinical Provider coverage in any and all clinics as needed, while modeling the core values, company’s vision, and The Limitless Way. Travel to clinics is expected, to deliver in-person Provider coverage for events such as unexpected illness, PTO and planned absences, staffing shortages, and more. Virtual Provider support may be utilized and determined on a case-by-case basis.
The Provider Quality Specialist role is expected to support and execute the core values as well as promote the company’s mission, vision, and The Limitless Way within each clinic. This position is responsible for traveling to each location to engage, train, and mentor new and existing employees. Provider Quality Specialists are expected to assess various aspects of the clinic and to provide feedback to the Director of Nursing to support improvements and create action plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the DON, achieve mastery in all clinical aspects of the patient journey.
- Provide clinical Provider coverage in any and all clinics as needed, while modeling the core values, company’s vision, and The Limitless Way.
- Travel to clinics to deliver in-person Provider coverage for events such as unexpected illness, PTO and planned absences, staffing shortages, and more. Virtual Provider support may be utilized and determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Promote and lead a patient-first culture. Hold others accountable when applicable.
- As part of the Quality Assurance team, assist in the completion of clinical competency standards and re-evaluations of new and experienced staff at all locations.
- As needed, deliver onsite training, support, and coaching for Providers at all locations.
- Deliver coordination between corporate goals, clinical leadership, and staff.
- Become a subject matter expert of any new roll outs, policy changes, and systems.
- Support the development, delivery, and follow up of the training programs. Act as a liaison in aligning the programs to execution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- This position indirectly supervises all Providers within all locations through proper training, correcting/rewarding of behaviors or actions, and continued follow up when applicable.
- All supervisory responsibilities shall be carried out in accordance with the core values and the organization’s mission, policies, and applicable laws when necessary.
- Responsibilities include shadowing and training employees; planning periodic training visits, appraising performance during clinic visits; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Quality Clinical Specialists will document their visits and provide feedback to the Director of Nursing on areas of success and areas of improvement. They will be held accountable to follow up to these visits to ensure that the clinic manager and Leader on Duty follow through on their designated assignments, tasks, or action plans.
- Attention to detail is required of the wellbeing of each clinic, both culturally and structurally.
Requirements
- Active Nurse practitioner licensure in good standing and willing to be licensed in other states as requested.
- Travel to all clinics with overnight stays will be required. 100% travel requirement, as there is no home clinic assigned.
- Minimum of 10-12 months of related clinic experience and/or previous training experience
- Must understand the job duties and expectations of all roles within the clinic and have shadowed and/or trained in some capacity with each position.
- Computer skills required: Human Resource Systems; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Systems; CRM; RXNT.
- Other skills required:
- A willingness to learn and train procedures and new offerings when applicable.
- Able to adapt to each new hires learning styles.
